So, the location was spot on! It was super easy to find and I loved how convenient it was to family nearby. The check-in was friendly and smooth, which started my stay on a good note. Plus, my room was cool and clean, a welcome relief from the heat outside, and the bed was really comfortable!
But yikes, things went downhill from there. The check-in process felt super confusing with all that app stuff. I could hear everything from the room next door, which made it hard to sleep. And when I ordered breakfast, I never received it—such a letdown. not the relaxing getaway I’d hoped for!

we had a wonderful experience staying at the statesman. the friendly staff made us feel right at home from the moment we checked in. our room was spotless and well-equipped, featuring a fantastic shower with great pressure, which we loved. the complimentary toiletries and ample milk were a nice touch. we also enjoyed the meals, especially dinner service, which was quick, and the delicious chicken kiev. overall, our visit was enjoyable, and we would definitely return.

The small yet recently refurbished room included a fantastic selection of teas and coffees. Parking was a bit tricky, but we found a spot nearby. With its clean ambiance and great location near landmarks like the National Zoo and Parliament House, our stay was more than adequate. I only wish we could have spent our entire trip here!

The breakfast was above average and excellent for continental plus hot fresh eggs and the food was great! Liked the room with a balcony which was a bonus, my bed was exceptionally comfortable. Location: the hotel was near the shops and a pretty, leafy suburb, near a lovely park with beautiful autumn trees.

The user-friendly database provided invaluable information for local attractions that enhanced my experience. the soundproofing between the neighboring rooms was surprisingly effective, allowing for a peaceful night’s sleep despite the exterior’s unassuming appearance.
This minor inconvenience didn’t overshadow my overall positive experience, but efficient service would have made it even better.
